This is a simple, but oh so refreshing homemade lemonade recipe, to cool off your summer days.
Original recipe by Not Without Salt
½ cup honey
½ cup sugar
2 cups water
3 sprigs rosemary
2 cups fresh lemon juice
about 5 cups water (more or less depending on preferred sweetness)
1. Combine honey, sugar and 2 cups water in a small saucepan . Bring to a boil then turn off the heat.
2. Add the rosemary and let it cool in the fridge.
3. When the syrup is cool combine it with the lemon juice. Add in 4-5 cups of water.
4. Taste and adjust to your liking.
The original recipe also calls for cherries inside, which sounds like a nice addition to this refreshing drink.
