Daily Spoon, an ongoing project by Stian Korntved Ruud

Norwegian designer Stian Korntved Ruud, has been carving one wooden spoon, every day for the past year. Using only hand tools, this project has allowed him to actively cooperate with wood. ” When using manual hand tools my hand collaborates with the wood structure during the forming process. This underpins all the spoons unique qualities.”

The result is a beautiful collection of unique spoons, and is almost completed.
