As 2015 is arriving, we decided to launch our blog – yay!!
Our first post is about an all time favorite biscuit recipe that perfectly complements coffee and is not just for christmas. This is the last christmas batch we made for this season, but you can make them round or square or in any animal shape you like. So, here you go:
150 gr butter (softened)
150 gr sugar
300 gr flour
1.5 tsp cardamon
Mix together butter, sugar and egg until smooth. Add 1/4 flour and the cardamon, and stir until the flour is fully incorporated. Keep adding the flour in quarters and stirring until all flour is blended well.
Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and then roll it out on a floured surface. Take the cutter and make any shapes you ‘d like.
Cover the baking sheet in parchment paper and bake in preheated oven at 175 degrees in the middle rack, for about 6-9 minutes depending on the size of your cookies.
Let them cool and enjoy!
