It’s already the middle of autumn, heading on to cooler winter. I’ve been thinking about this post for the past days, discussing the transition of seasons and how we align with them. Autumn came in a slower pace after an energy summer, days are getting shorter and the weather gets colder. It is a great time to acknowledge and evaluate where we’ve been and where we’re going.
We rounded up a few of our favorite wellness tips to embrace autumn and prepare ourselves for winter.
Seasonal eating nourishes the body and mind and helps us align with the season. Prepare and enjoy warming recipes like soups and stews with seasonal produce. Apples, pears, pumpkins, pomegranates, mushrooms, broccoli, chestnuts will add a warming autumnal flavor and color to our table.
Making time for ourselves, even for a few minutes, help us refuel and refocus. Different people use different ways to achieve that; daily rituals like morning tea or coffee, meditation, silent walks and more. Additionally, prepare your skin for the colder months by moisturizing and bodies by strengthening your immune system.
Autumn is a great time of year to get out and experience the changes in nature. Birds seek warmer places because of cooler temperatures, while leaves are slowly changing colors and fall. This is a nice opportunity for hiking and exploring outdoors.
One of the things you can do in your balcony or small garden, is to plant bulbs to enjoy them in spring. Try tulips, anemones and hyacinths to welcome spring in full color!
Oh, and our announcement; To help us explore this transition of seasons in our daily routines, from this month on, we’ll be inviting guests to share experiences and views.
